
Scarlets have added former Cardiff Met captain Iwan Shenton and second-row Griff Evans for the 2022-23 season.
Again row Shenton, 22, has performed for Aberavon within the Welsh Premiership.
Evans, 21, will proceed to play for Llandovery, additionally within the Premiership, on his twin contract with membership and area.
James Davies, the previous Wales flanker who’s now Scarlets’ recruitment and operations supervisor, says Shenton and Evans have underlined their potential in pre-season coaching.
Davies says Shenton “is a participant with a variety of potential and we’re trying ahead to seeing how he develops”.
Of Evans, Davies mentioned: “He’s an athletic ahead with an excellent skillset and has been a constant performer for Llandovery within the Premiership.”
Scarlets proceed their preparations for the brand new season once they host Bristol Bears on Friday, 2 September (19:00 BST).
